Jen Perkins
Consultant
Jen Perkins is a Consultant at Wellspring. She brings experience in strategic planning, organizational growth and operations, and program management.Â
Previously, Jen worked as the Director of Partnerships at the GO Foundation, an AmeriCorps recipient providing high-dosage ELA and math tutoring in public schools. At GOF, Jen grew GOF's student impact through new partnerships – expanding to multiple new states and regions – while refining and managing program implementation. Additionally, Jen served as the Director of Network Operations at Prospect Schools, a diverse-by-design charter network in Brooklyn, where Jen developed and mobilized COVID policies, protocols, and responses for 2200+ students and 350+ staff. Jen also served as the Chief of Staff at Prospect Schools, where she drove organizational strategy, including successfully executing a rare merger of two charter schools.

Before entering public education, Jen focused on economic development, serving both nonprofits and major metropolitan areas in deploying New Markets Tax Credits, and managing major public-private partnerships and initiatives. Jen received her Masters in Education from the Broad Center for Urban Education, her Masters in Public Policy from Duke University, and her BSFS in International Politics from Georgetown University. Jen is also a certified Project Management Professional.
