Rachel Light, Partner
Rachel is a Partner at Wellspring. She brings experience in strategy consulting, business planning, growth strategy, market research and performance measurement. Her practice is devoted to helping nonprofit organizations confront major strategic questions. She has worked with health care, social services, religious action, child welfare, and other organizations on issues such as expansion, mission fulfillment, program alignment, and organizational sustainability.
Previously, Rachel worked in her own consulting business to conceptualize and develop a birth center at Yale New Haven Hospital. She has also taught middle school science in New York. Rachel is a past Board Member of the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven and past chair of the Strategic Planning Committee for Ezra Academy. Rachel currently coaches junior varsity and varsity basketball for boys in 5th through 8th grade.
Rachel received an MD from the Yale School of Medicine, where she graduated with Honors and received the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation. She graduated with a BA in Biology from Swarthmore College, where she received High Honors and membership in Sigma Xi National Honor Society.
