Job information

Consultants work in a team setting.  Their precise role on the team depends upon their level of experience. The work is similar in nature to that done by corporate strategy firms, although adjustments are made to accommodate the special needs of nonprofit clients.  The Consultant is an active part of the case team, and his/her work includes a range of research and analysis aimed at answering critical questions and informing decision making.  This includes database design and analysis, financial modeling, market research, and general research in the client’s field of endeavor.  Consultants also participate in internal case team meetings and client meetings.

Qualifications

Consultants with Wellspring Consulting typically will have received a Masters degree. Consultants must have excellent analytical skills, be strong strategic thinkers, work effectively with people, and demonstrate interest in the social sector.
